PA Erect
This 37 year old male was referred for chest radiography with a history of pyrexia of unknown origin (POU)
There is abnormal retrocardiac density
There is loss of visualisation of the left hemidiaphragm and airbronchogram lines.
Appearances are consistent with left lower lobe consolidation/collapse.
Lateral
There is abnormal retrocardiac density
There is complete loss of visualisation of the left hemidiaphragm (silhouette sign)
