Positioning
  • Patient prone on the X-ray table with legs extended
  • Cushion for head
  • Place support under ankle and leg
  • Flex the knee approximately 5° to 10°
  • Centre the medial portion of patella to IR
  • Medially rotate the knee 45° to 55° from the prone position
  • CR directed to mid-patella area, perpendicular to IR
