Prominent Conoid Tubercle

The conoid tubercle (or coracoid tuberosity) is a rough eminence on the posterior inferior side of the clavicle. It lies above the coracoid process. The conoid ligament connects the coracoid process to the conoid tubercle.
A prominent conoid tubercle makes an accesory articulation with the coracoid process as the coracoclavicular joint.
