Lower limb venous thrombosis (DVT) Assess: Deep vein compressibility - CFV / FV / Popliteal vein CFV phasicity Popliteal vein flow with augmentation Calf veins - PTV / Per V / ATV / Gastroc V / Soleal V compressibility Deep vein lumen Other causes of leg swelling: Bakers cyst haematoma oedema muscle tear tendon tear Standard documentation: CFV - comp / non comp CFV spectral trace with Valsalva's or deep inspiration FV Proximal / mid thigh / distal thigh - comp / non comp Pop V mid - comp / non comp Pop V spectral trace with augmentation Calf veins: PTV, Per V, ATV with colour doppler showing filling with augmentation and/or compression views
